Mount Airy

Town in Carroll and Frederick counties, northern Maryland; population (1990) 3,700. Mount Airy lies in an agricultural region, 48 km/30 mi west-northwest of Baltimore. Wine is produced locally.

Mount Airy

Residential neighbourhood in the northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Situated between Germantown and Chestnut Hill, it is a racially integrated community of middle-class professionals, characterized by both terraced houses and 19th-century detached homes.
