Mukalla

Port and capital of Hadhramaut governorate, on the south coast of Yemen, 500 km/310 mi northeast of Aden; population (1995 est) 154,400. Mukalla is an important fishing port and centre for the export of tobacco, hides, cotton, and coffee.

Aden is Yemen's biggest port and Mukalla is the other major port situated on the Gulf of Aden.
The move comes under an agreement that was singed last year between the ministry of Industry and Trade and the Malaysian Serem Company on the margins of the Mukalla Conference of Industry- the future of Yemen.
Authorities have said the men were arrested in September 2008 after their boat was seized by Yemeni coast guard patrols about 50 miles off the south-eastern Yemeni port of Mukalla.
