Munday, Richard (c. 1685–1739)

Builder and architect. He helped transform Newport, Rhode Island, into an elegant, modern town in the 1720s and 1730s with buildings influenced by Christopher Wren – Trinity Church (1725–26) and Old Colony House (1739).
