Monza

Town in Lombardy, northern Italy, 16 km/10 mi northeast of Milan; population (1990) 123,200. It has a motor-racing circuit that has traditionally been used for the Italian Grand Prix. Textiles, hats, and carpets are manufactured, and there are dyeing and engineering industries.
