Mustang Island

Barrier island in Nueces County, southern Texas. Lying opposite the entrance to Corpus Christi Bay, Mustang Island is 37 km/23 mi long and up to 6 km/4 mi wide. At its northeastern end lies the fishing harbour and ocean research centre of Port Aransas; population (1990) 2,200.

Mustang Island is known as a bird habitat, and is popular for its beaches, fishing, and camping. The southwestern end of the island is separated from Padre Island by a narrow channel.

A few of the well known beaches are Galveston Island, Mustang Island, Padre Island & Corpus Christi, & Sea Rim.
She is creating two Robin Wilson concept homes in Texas, which are located on Mustang Island in a luxury resort development called Cinnamon Shore, just one mile from the Newport and the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course.
Then take Beach Road 1 to Mustang Island State Park, where there are sand dunes and the beach is a real treat.
