Mustonen, Olli (1967– )

Finnish pianist and composer. He studied in Helsinki and has appeared with leading orchestras in Europe since 1984. Following his US debut in 1986 at the Newport Festival, he returned for a concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. He made his London debut in 1987, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a regular chamber music partner of Heinrich Schiff, Sabine Meyer, Steven Isserlis, and Dimitri Sitkovetsky. He has also been soloist in his own two piano concertos.
