Naissance de la lyre, La

Lyric opera in one act by Albert Roussel (libretto by Théodore Reinach, after Sophocles). It was first produced in Paris at the Opéra on 1 July 1925, with choreography by Nijinska. Symphonic fragments in six movements were conducted by Paray in a performance in Paris on 13 November 1927.
