Nash equilibrium

In game theory, where two players collude to produce a situation where failure to collude would make them both worse off. It is named after the US mathematician John Nash (1928– ), who produced a mathematical formalization of such an equilibrium.

One interesting feature of the model is that it can reveal what both teams should do, which is called the Nash equilibrium, after the Nobel laureate John Nash.
