Navsari

Town in Gujarat state, western India, 235 km/146 mi north of Mumbai (formerly Bombay); population (1991) 190,000. Local industries include milling, weaving, and leather production. It has long been the centre for Parsees in India, and it is there that their priests receive their instruction.
