Neikrug, Marc (1946– )| US composer and pianist. He studied in Detmold and with Schuller at Tanglewood. He formed a duo partnership with Pinchas Zukerman with whom he made his Salzburg debut in 1978. His opera Los Alamos was premiered at the Deutsche Oper, Berlin in 1988. Other works include concertos for piano (1966), clarinet (1970), viola (1974), violin (1985), and flute (1989); two string quartets (1969, 1972); concertino for ensemble (1977), and Eternity's Sunrise for orchestra (1980). |
