Neuberger, Richard Lewis (1912–1960)| US journalist, author, and senator. He worked as a journalist for the Portland Oregonian and as Pacific Northwest correspondent for the New York Times and wrote several books and many articles about the Pacific Northwest. He served in the state legislature before his election to the US Senate (Democrat, Oregon; 1955–60). Neuberger was born in Portland, Oregon. |
