Neusiedler See

Shallow lake mainly in Burgenland, Austria, southeast of Vienna, and in the Gyor-Sopron district of northwest Hungary; area 152 sq km/60 sq mi. It is slightly saline, shallow, and has a large amount of reeds. It is the only steppe lake in Europe. The size varies according to the seasons.
