New Berlin

Town in Chenango County, central New York State, located on the Unadilla River, 32 km/20 mi northwest of Oneonta; population (1990) 3,000. In a dairy and arable farming region, New Berlin processes cereals and mills lumber. It was the birthplace of diplomat Anson Burlingame.

New Berlin

City in Waukesha County, southeastern Wisconsin, 16 km/10 mi southwest of Milwaukee; population (1990) 33,600. Founded in 1840, it is primarily a residential suburb, and also has some light industry.
