New General Catalogue

Catalogue of star clusters and nebulae compiled by the Danish astronomer John Louis Emil Dreyer and published in 1888. Its main aim was to revise, correct, and expand upon the General Catalogue compiled by English astronomer John Herschel, which appeared in 1864. The catalogue has itself been corrected to form the Revised New General Catalogue.
