Newport Pagnell

Market town in Buckinghamshire, southern England, 22 km/14 mi northeast of Buckingham; population (2001) 14,700. Newport Pagnell forms part of the new-town conurbation of Milton Keynes. The main occupation is agriculture, and there are also light industries.

Newport Pagnell is situated on the Great Ouse, at the point where it is joined by the Ousel. It has a 14th-century church.
