Niccolini, Giuseppe (1762–1842)

Italian composer. He was at first very successful in opera, but was eventually driven from the stage by Rossini. He was maestro di cappella at Piacenza Cathedral from 1819.

He studied under Giacomo Insanguine at the Conservatorio di Sant' Onofrio, Naples.
