Nidderdale

Valley of the River Nidd in North Yorkshire, England, located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The river flows southeast from the base of Whernside (27 km/17 mi northwest of Ripon) into the River Ouse near York. Water is supplied to Bradford from a dam above the village of Pateley Bridge. Upper Nidderdale is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
