Lauda, Niki (1949– )Austrian motor-racing driver who won the Formula 1 World Championship in 1975, 1977, and 1984. He was also runner-up in 1976, despite having a serious accident at Nurburgring, Germany, which kept him out of action for six weeks of the season.
