Noginsk

City in the Moscow oblast (region) of the western Russian Federation, 52 km/32 mi east of Moscow; population (1996 est) 118,000. It is a major textile centre; cotton, wool, and silk industries have been active in the city since the 19th century. First chronicled the 16th century, it became a town in 1781.

I was briefed on my assignment and was transported along with a translator east of Moscow to the town of Noginsk.
To date, the line has been completed from Moscow to Noginsk, with various other segments under construction.
The proposed complex would be built near Timokhovo, Noginsk District, Moscow Region, approximately 37 miles from Moscow.
