Norman, Barry Leslie (1933– )| English journalist and broadcaster. A specialist in the world of show business, he made his name as an influential film critic presenting the majority of the annual Film television series, commencing with Film 73. His documentaries include The Hollywood Greats (1977–79, 1984–85) and Talking Pictures (1988). In 1981 he received the BAFTA Richard Dimbleby award. |
