North Bend| Village in Hamilton County, in the far southwest of Ohio; population (1990) 550. North Bend is situated on the Ohio River 18 km/11 mi west of Cincinnati. |
| One of the earliest European settlements in the state, North Bend was established in 1789, and was the birthplace of US president Benjamin Harrison in 1833. His grandfather, President William H Harrison, spent much of his adult life here; his tomb lies behind the Harrison Monument in nearby William Henry Harrison State Park. |
