North Las Vegas

City on the northern outskirts of Las Vegas, in Clark County, southeastern Nevada; population (2000 est) 115,500. Founded in the 1920s, it is primarily a dormitory town for the city.

Its population rose by 142% between 1990 and 2000.

Nellis Air Forec Base is situated immediately to the east.
