North Miami

City in Dade County, southeastern Florida; population (1990) 50,000. It stands on the northern end of Biscayne Bay, and is a largely residential suburb of Miami on the city's northern outskirts. Fibreglass boats, aluminium products, kitchen equipment, and furniture are manufactured and local citrus fruit is processed in the city.
