Northville

City in Wayne and Oakland counties, southeastern Michigan, 37 km/23 mi northwest of Detroit; population (1990) 6,200. This suburban community is known for its Victorian architecture.

Northville's manufactures include furnaces, furniture, glass products, and car parts. It also contains a winery and cider mills. It is the site of Northville Downs Race Track, while Maybury State Park is just to the west.
