Norton Shores

City in Muskegon County, southwestern Michigan; population (1990) 21,800. It is situated on Lake Michigan and Mona Lake, and is a residential suburb 11 km/7 mi south of Muskegon. Some 3 km/2 mi to the south lies P J Hoffmaster State Park.
