Nudd, Bob

English angler. He won three angling world championships in five years, and was the mainstay of an English team who gained the world team championship four times in 11 years. Unknown as an amateur, he first entered the Fermanagh Festival in 1978, and landed one of fishing's top prizes when he caught 498 roach within five hours.

Nudd was born in Chelmsford, Essex. A unique sportsman, he has made a rap record about fishing, and is noted for his calm temperament.
