VIENNA, Nov 11 (KUNA) -- The price of OPEC basket of 12-crudes dropped seven cents on Tuesday and settled at USD 76.
Summary: Algeria "would back the idea of creating a gas OPEC," Energy and Mining Minister Chakib Khelil said, underlining that the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) should function "as an economic organization" and be modelled on OPEC.
But while Russian officials attend OPEC meetings as observers and keep pushing the group's member-states to maintain their strategy, Moscow has repeatedly refused to get its crude oil producers to cut their output in solidarity with them.
