Obukhov, Nikolai (1892–1954)

Russian composer. He was a pupil of Nikolai Tcherepnin and Maksimilian Osseievich Steinberg at the St Petersburg Conservatory. He settled in Paris in 1918 and made further studies with Ravel and others. He experimented with a 12-note system.
