Narrow lake in Highland unitary authority, Scotland, flowing from the River Oich into Loch Ness at Fort Augustus. It extends over a length of 6 km/4 mi, and reaches a depth of 46 m/151 ft. The loch forms part of the Caledonian Canal system, and has large trout and salmon fisheries.
