Bond Street

Street and shopping centre in London, England, running between Piccadilly and Oxford Street. The southern section, known as Old Bond Street, was built in 1686 by Thomas Bond, a member of Queen Henrietta Maria's household, and after whom the street was named. The northern section, New Bond Street, was built around 1721.

The composer Georg Friedrich Handel lived at 25 Brook Street, close to the junction of Brook Street and New Bond Street, from 1723 until his death.
