nystagmus

Rapid, rhythmic oscillation of the eyes; movements may be vertical, horizontal or rotary. It may occur with poor vision or it may be due to a disorder in the brain.

Optokinetic nystagmus was stimulated with a rotating drum that was electrically controlled at two different speeds: 30[degrees] and 150[degrees]/sec.
The optokinetic nystagmus test uses a black-and-white striped cylinder called the optokinetic nystagmus drum (OKN drum).
