Italian composer. He was maestro di cappella to the Duke of Tuscany at Florence, and was appointed to the same post at the cathedral there in 1732.

c. 50 operas, for example Amore e maestà (1715), Antigona (1718), Il marito giocatore, Nerone (1720); oratorios; cantatas.
