Orologio, Alessandro (c. 1550-1633)

Italian composer and instrumentalist. His career took him to Prague, Kassel, Dresden, and Wolfenbüttel; he became choirmaster at the Austrian monastery of Garsten at the end of his career. He published several books of madrigals and canzonets, and a collection of Intradas for all kinds of instruments.
