Orphée et Eurydice

Opera by Christoph Willibald von Gluck (libretto by P L Moline, translated from Raniero da Calzabigi's Orfeo ed Euridice). Produced in Paris in August 1774, it is a revised version of Gluck's first setting in 1762. See Orfeo ed Euridice for a plot synopsis.
