Opera by Johann Gottlieb Naumann (libretto by C D Biehl, based on Raniero da Calzabigi). Produced in Copenhagen on 21 January 1786, it was the first grand opera on a Danish libretto. See Orfeo ed Euridice for a plot synopsis.
