Otello

Opera by Verdi (libretto by Arrigo Boito, after Shakespeare), produced at La Scala in Milan on 5 February 1887. The plot concerns Otello, who, driven by the evil Iago, murders his wife Desdemona in a jealous rage, and commits suicide.
