perk

In work, a benefit given to an employee. Common perks given by UK companies are company cars, luncheon vouchers, free private medical insurance, and free contributions to pension schemes. Perks are used to motivate staff. They can also save money for both employer and employee because lower tax and national insurance contributions are usually paid on perks than on an equivalent increase in pay.
