Paganini Studies

A set of six studies for piano by Franz Liszt, transcribed from the 19th-century virtuoso violinist Niccolò Paganini's violin capricci (except no. 3 which is another version of La Campanella). The studies were dedicated to Clara Schumann. There is an original version, Études d'exécution transcendante d'après Paganini, written in 1838, and a revised version, Grandes Études de Paganini, written in 1851.

Two sets of studies for piano (six in each) by Robert Schumann on themes from Paganini's violin capricci (studies): Op. 3 was written in 1832, and Op. 10 was written in 1833.
