Page, John (1743-1808)

US representative and governor. He fought in the French and Indian wars and in the Revolutionary Army with George Washington before going to Congress (Republican, Virginia; 1789-97), and later served as Virginia's governor (1802-05). He was born in Gloucester County, Virginia.
