English musician, possibly of French extraction. He was a member of the King's Band in London.

incidental music for Shakespeare's Henry IV (The Humours of Sir John Falstaff, 1699), Southerne's adaptation of Aphra Behn's Oroonoko (1695), Bancroft's King Edward III (1690), Cibber's She wou'd and she wou'd not and Love's Last Shift (1695), and Mme La Roche Guilhen's Rare en tout; duets, sonatas, and pieces for flute.
