Palisades Park

Borough of Bergen County, New Jersey, on Overpeck Creek and the western side of the Palisades (a vertical rock face on the Hudson River), 6 km/4 mi southeast of Hackensack; population (1990) 14,500. It is primarily a commuter suburb, although there is some light industry. A large amusement park, formerly a major attraction, is located in the borough.
