Pallavicino, Benedetto (1551-1601)

Italian composer. He was in the service of the Duke of Mantua from 1582, and succeeded Giaches de Wert as maestro di cappella there in 1596, but retired to the monastery of Camaldoli in Tuscany in 1601.
