Pasterwiz, Georg (1730-1803)

Austrian monk, organist, and composer. He studied at Kremsmünster Abbey, where he was ordained priest in 1755, and with Johann Eberlin at Salzburg. He was choirmaster at the abbey 1767-82, but later lived chiefly in Vienna.
