Peacehaven

Coastal town in East Sussex, England, to the east of Brighton; population (2001) 13,200. Originally called ‘New-Anzac-on-Sea’, it was given its present name after World War I, when an American-style grid-iron pattern of bungalows was erected on 7,000 plots.
