Peasant a Rogue, The

Comic opera by Dvořák (libretto by J O Veselý), produced in Prague at the Czech Theatre, on 27 January 1878. The story is similar to that of Le Nozze di Figaro. A Prince wants to seduce Bětuška, who already loves Jeník; the Princess helps to stop her husband's attempted exploits by dressing up as Bětuška.
