Pedersøn, Mogens (c. 1585–c. 1623)

Danish singer and composer. He was a pupil of Melchior Borgrevinck in the royal chapel of Christian IV. After a visit to Venice 1599–1600, he became a singer in the royal chapel. In 1605–09 he was at Venice again studying with Giovanni Gabrieli. He was in England 1611–14, but returned to Denmark and became vice-director of the chapel in 1618.
