Peinemann, Edith (1937– )

German violinist. He toured widely from 1956 in broad repertory, making his US debut in 1962. He performed duos with Jörg Demus. He made his New York debut in 1965, with the Cleveland Orchestra; he performed Mozart's concerto K218 at Salzburg, in 1977. From 1976 he was a professor at the Frankfurt Hochschule.
