Pereira, Irene (1907–1971)

US painter. She supported her family when young, then became an abstract painter on glass and parchment, depicting what she called ‘infinity’, as seen in Undulating Arrangement (1947). Based in New York, New York, she moved to the coast of Spain during her last years. She was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
