Marguerite (Argyranthemum frutescens), also known as the Paris daisy or Boston daisy, or chrysanthemum grandiflorum. The marguerite is a short, bushy perennial, popular in gardens and as cut flowers. It grows up to 90 cm/35 in tall and its daisylike flowers bloom throughout the summer.

Plant that lives for more than two years. Herbaceous perennials have aerial stems and leaves that die each autumn. They survive the winter by means of an underground storage organ (perennating organ), such as a bulb or rhizome. Trees and shrubs or woody perennials have stems that persist above ground throughout the year, and may be either deciduous or evergreen. See also annual plant, biennial plant.
