Perfect Fool, The
| Opera by Gustav Holst (libretto by composer), produced at Covent Garden, London, on 14 May 1923. The story concerns a mother who tries (with help from the Wizard) to marry her son, the Fool, to the Princess, who falls in love with him after other suitors fail to attract her. The opera ends with a comic wedding. |
